You can throw a cylinder or bowl on your own - now you're ready to level up your skills.
This course will build on foundational wheel throwing techniques. Each student's learning will depend on their skill level entering the class. Students must be able to comfortably throw 800 gram cylinders and bowls. Students may focus on refining their cylinder skills by exploring taller and more narrow forms, or move on to larger bowls, narrow neck bottles, vases, lidded forms and/or plates, or blend these skills together by making teapots. Our instructor will take demonstration requests based on the group's preferences and abilities.
✷ Students have access to $10, unlimited clay, 2-hour drop-ins to practice skills during the course.
✷ Includes all supplies: firings, studio glazes (over 35 beautiful options), underglazes, use of tools and unlimited clay.
✷ Each student receives a studio guide book to borrow for the duration of the course, that includes infographics and step by step instructions to help remind you of the many steps (useful for drop-in practice sessions) and for studying outside of class.
