✷ MUD Buddy (4 x 3 hr sessions per month) - $150/month
✷ MUD Slinger (6 x 3 hr sessions per month) - $210/month
✷ MUD Wrestler (8 x 3 hr sessions per month) - $260/month
Additional studio time outside of your allotted membership hours are billed at an hourly rate of $15/hour.
Included is:
✷ Storage space for clay, tools, and works in progress.
✷ Personal door code and member app to track hours.
✷ 24-7 access unless otherwise notified for special events.
✷ Over 35 beautiful glazes.
✷ Access to wareboards, plastic sheets, underglazes, decorating tools, glazing tools, and other specialty items.
Clay is purchased through the studio. Members must supply their own throwing and trimming tools, including bats if they choose to use them.
Orientation:
All new members must participate in a one-time orientation session to get acquainted with the studio space and cleaning procedures. This is required before booking drop-in wheel / hand-building sessions. (Not required for pottery painting).
We also require new members to take two 30-minute glaze consultation lessons with one of our instructors to help you get to know our studio glazes and how to use them best.
Those wishing to become a member of MUD must fill out an application form outlining their previous experience.
Drop-Ins:
✷ Available for current students ($10)
✷ Available for visiting artists, and hobby/low/medium production potters who are able to store their works in progress off-site. $20/hour, plus kiln firing and glaze fees apply.
A minimum of 6 previous pottery classes at MUD or elsewhere is required to become a member or to drop-in. You must be confident in your practice and in using studio equipment.
